Environmental benefits: SP 1504 Easy Apply

The SP (Sustainable Print) 1504 Easy Apply, which can be exclusively previewed at the show, is a new platform comprising PVC-free,  conformable, and printable wrapping film, which Avery Dennison says offers "outstanding" performance and environmental benefits.

Combined with Avery Dennison’s Easy Apply adhesive technology, the new film is said by the company to "deliver easy repositioning and bubble-free applications for even the most challenging 3D applications”.

The SP 1504 Easy Apply recently made its debut in Europe, and is targeted to be launched in ANZ later this year.

“As a company committed to serving as a force for good both environmentally and socially, we want to spark conversations and actions that will advance the circular economy,” said David Newman, senior marketing manager, Graphics Solutions, Asia Pacific, Avery Dennison. “At the upcoming event, we look forward to helping business visitors, partners, and customers in the industry learn and deploy our innovative sustainability-themed solutions or programs that reduce resource consumption or eliminate waste in the community.”

Matthew Francis, product manager for Graphics Solutions, Australia and New Zealand, Avery Dennison said, “We are excited to preview the SP 1504 Easy Apply premium film which garnered positive customer reception at its European launch. This is a great opportunity for us to engage with business visitors about our new Sustainable Print solution.”

Avery Dennison will have other sustainability-themed solutions showcased at PacPrint21, which will include the Avery Dennison Plastic End Cap Recycling Program, a new value chain for the graphics solutions industry, which focuses on waste material generated in operational use.

This programme diverts discarded plastic waste to create raw materials for everyday products, with the company explaining that it can help businesses in the graphics solutions industry to take the right step in making sustainability an integral part of their daily operations.
