PRINT CONVENTION MULLS ENGLISH SESSIONS
The organisers of next year’s trade fair, congress and networking event hosted by drupa, the Print & Digital Convention, are considering running some sessions in English for the first time.
The high-level convention attracts professionals from the print and media industry, as well as for decision-makers from industry, e-commerce, retail and IT, and has until now run in the German language, even though the event's title is in English.
However this year's event may well have some English presentations as well, although nothing has been decided yet, with the organisers still “fine-tuning” the programme.
The sixth edition of the congress trade fair will again focus on future-oriented content – on the potential of digital printing applications, multi-channel solutions, creative finishing and sustainable print and packaging solutions.
Organisers say participants at the Print & Digital Convention, which runs next May – exactly 12 months prior to the 2024 drupa – can look forward to an extensive two-day programme of lectures, innovative exhibits, hands-on best practice and plenty of opportunity to network, while learning about and discussing the latest trends and opinions in the industry.
The Print & Digital Convention 2022 had 1,250 participants and 63 international exhibitors. The conference programme focused on Sustainable Media Production, Programmatic Print and Value-Added Printing.
The 2023 event will take place from Tuesday, 16 May, to Wednesday, 17 May 2023. It is organised by Fachverband Medienproduktion (f:mp.) in cooperation with Messe Düsseldorf and drupa. Further information can be found at: www.printdigitalconvention.de/en or www.drupa.com/en/drupa_global
