FESPA VIDEO: ZÜND BRINGS FUTURE TO SHOW

Automation is the theme of the Zünd stand, with the launch of a new, integrated system for autonomous, pallet-to-pallet production, and the demonstration of a new robot pick and sort system.

The new Q-Line with BHS180 Board Handling System and Underam was not on the stand, but Zünd said the smart machine-control technology, and high level of automation, will see it working at 2.8 metres a second.

Zünd is using a PortaTable 130 robot to demonstrate how robots can be used to pick and sort automatically. The PortaTable is mobile off-load table equipped with a robotic arm, which can be moved from one cutter to another.
