BLOW UP HITS THE SKIDS
Sydney-based Blow Up Imaging is in voluntary administration, the directors pulling the plug on their own ability to trade on.
The company, with its print facility in Artarmon, celebrated its 30th birthday last year, and is part of the Tricol Group, which is owned by WK Family Investments.
Blow Up has been a pioneer of sorts, it had the first Lamda in Sydney, and claims it had the world’s first Inca Spyder with white ink. It currently runs aqueous, UV, and eco-solvent printers.
It has been operating with eight staff. Creditors should contact the administrator Cameron Gray at DW Advisory. He is looking to sell the business, or its assets. The first creditors meeting is today.
