The company is a leading supplier in the print local industry, with its twin arms of Fujifilm Graphic Systems and Fujifilm Business Innovation. Fujifilm is also a major name in the photography and medical imaging fields.

The Graphic Systems division, headed by Troy Neighbour, supplies offset plates, CTP systems, roll-to-roll and flatbed wide format printers, inks and associated consumables, and the XMF digital workflow solution.

Fujifilm Business Innovation is headed by managing director Yasuyuki Matsumoto, it develops and supplies both cutsheet and continuous feed digital print systems, with the Revoria cutsheet brand of B2 and SRA3 toner printers, and Jet Press B2 sheetfed inkjet presses. It will also be launching a new digital inkjet flexible packaging press.

All Fujifilm print solutions are manufactured by the company itself, which is also a major printhead supplier to other equipment manufacturers.

Speaking at the 20th celebrations, held at the Sydney Opera House, Ryuichi Matoba, CEO, said, “We are incredibly proud of our journey over the past 20 years.

“This milestone reflects our dedication to innovation and commitment to serving our customers and communities. As we look to the future, we remain focused on delivering solutions that meet the evolving needs of the Australian market.”

Recognising the importance of environmental responsibility, Fujifilm Australia has implemented numerous sustainability initiatives, focusing on reducing waste, conserving energy, and promoting recycling. For example, Instax products use entirely recycled paper in their packaging, and its factory in Melbourne draws all of its water from the roof. The local team has also dedicated time to rubbish collection, and have collected 961kg of rubbish around its offices so far in 2024.

2024 is the 90th anniversary of Fujifilm globally, and to mark this occasion the company unveiled a new group purpose – Giving Our World More Smiles. Fujifilm Australia ranked in the top 10 medium businesses in The Australian’s Best Places to Work rankings.

Fujifilm global CEO Teiichi Goto attended the local event to join the celebrations. Also present were Mark Coure, shadow minister for Multiculturalism, Jobs, Industry, Innovation, Science and Technology, and Yuichiro Nishida, deputy consul-general of Japan in Sydney.
