The company says the new Latex FS Printers have a focus on scalability and growth, addressing the needs of print businesses both hardware and software solutions that grow with their business.

They also come with enhanced workflow and remote management, in the form of HP’s Live Production software, enabling remote workflow management, which HP says will help print businesses increase productivity and address labour challenges. It says features like real-time device control and print queue management streamline production and reduce manual intervention.

According to the company, the new HP Latex FS50 and FS60 series delivers up to 30 per cent wider gamut than previous models.

The HP Latex FS50 and the HP Latex FS60 are scalable platforms, aimed at large PSPs seeking efficiency in super wide format printing. They run at 89sqm an hour, with the FS50 having five litre ink tanks, which can be upgraded to 10 litre, while the FS60 comes with 10 litre tanks as standard, and user-replaceable printheads.

HP says they offer a wide range of signage and décor applications, including thin films, vinyl, and odourless backlit textiles. They can handle roll weights of up to 160kg as standard, with a 300kg upgrade option.

The scalable platform of the HP Latex FS50 and FS60 allows for “easy” integration of future enhancements while offering a longer lifespan and reduced environmental impact.

With water-based odorless prints, and no hazardous air pollutants, the HP Latex FS50 and FS60 series meet environmental certifications.

Daniel Martinez, global head and general manager, HP Large Format, said, "This is a significant milestone in our innovation strategy, demonstrating our commitment and partnership to our customers.

Introducing the new HP Latex FS50 and FS60 printer series, along with the anticipated availability of Live Production's new features, is more than a product launch. These solutions are designed to empower mid-large volume print service providers to embrace the future with hardware and software solutions, fostering continuous adaptability. By enabling their workflows and equipment to evolve hand in hand with their businesses, these solutions ensure that our customers remain competitive in the ever-changing market”.

Oscar Vidal, global director, product & strategy, Large Format Print, said, "We understand the importance of scalability and growth for high volume and long run print service providers. With the introduction of the HP Latex FS50 and FS60 series and the upcoming availability of the new features of Live Production software, we are expanding scalability to both hardware and software solutions. Our goal is to provide PSPs with the tools they need to achieve sustainable growth and thrive in an ever-changing market."
