“Being a UV printer, we believe all its prints have good longevity. It will be used for window, car, awning, corflutes and all kinds of signage,” Emmanuel (Budgie) Buhagiar, director of Imagination Graphics, told Print21.

“We will also use it for labels and speciality printing, using the white and the clear coating. Some of the samples are just fantastic.

“The Mimaki will be up and running this week, and with it being three times faster, I’m hoping it will bring some new and innovative work for us.”

The UCJV 330 Series is a print and cut UV-LED inkjet printer that combines the productivity and image quality of Mimaki’s flagship 330 Series with its UV printing technology, which the company says significantly improves productivity and image quality compared to previous models.

It features newly developed ink ejection technology, which the company says will deliver high image quality at high production speeds. Mimaki’s banding reduction system is also incorporated, which the company says makes printing smoother.

Imagination Graphics offers a wide range of services, including digital printing, offset printing, graphic design and web design and pre-press services.
