FSSC requires businesses to meet stringent criteria including food safety, hygiene protocols, contamination prevention and risk management.

Matt Aitken, managing director of IVE Group said of the certification, “Packaging is a key growth area for IVE, and achieving FSSC certification really demonstrates our commitment to providing first-class, safe and reliable packaging solutions for our clients.

“It is a great acknowledgement of our teams’ expertise, and in turn creates new opportunities with the brands that trust us with their packaging needs.”

‍Achieving this certification is a significant step for IVE Group, which acquired  Melbourne based JacPak two years ago, and is now building a facility at its NSW Silverwater site, as it seeks to build a $150m a year folding carton business.

IVE says that by meeting the highest global food safety standards, it reinforces its commitment to quality and innovation, while strengthening relationships with key partners in the food and beverage industry.
