IVE ORDERS FOUR KOENIG & BAUER PRESSES
Diversified marketing services group IVE, which includes Australia’s biggest print operation, has ordered four new Koenig & Bauer Rapida 106 X sheetfed offset presses.
The press order for the quartet of Rapida 106 Xs is the biggest Koenig & Bauer has ever taken in Australia and New Zealand, and comes as one of several orders for new presses the company has taken recently. They include the Rapida 106 X that will go into Blue Star’s new integrated production facility in Auckland, and the B2 Rapida 76 that has been installed at United Print & Packaging in Sydney.

Details of the exact specifications of the new Koenig & Bauers, and where in IVE's operations they will be located, remain confidential, underscoring, says Koenig & Bauer, the significance of this investment in response to the surging demand for high quality printing solutions.
Rayne Simpson, newly appointed sales manager at Koenig & Bauer AU/NZ, highlighted the features of the Rapida 106 X. He said, “This next-generation press is pioneering the future of industrial printing, offering significant advantages in economy and efficiency.
“Whether in commercial, packaging, or label printing, the Rapida 106 X sets a new standard for sheetfed offset.”
Simpson is part of the new-look management team at Koenig & Bauer AU/NZ, with Harris, formerly service director, taking over as managing director following the retirement of previous incumbent Dave Lewis, and Simpson rejoining the industry for his new role.
