JEFFRIES AUCTIONS PLANET KIT

Jeffries Printing is holding an online auction of excess plant and equipment from its acquisition of Planet Press a year ago, now the companies are both in the same site.

Jeffries has now moved into the Planet Press site in Milperra, and owner Baden Kirgan said, “Everything up for auction is good, it all works fine, it is top quality equipment, we just don’t have the room for it.”

Up for auction are 33 lots, including top of the range printing and finishing equipment from Heidelberg, Horizon, Schneider Senator, Polar Mohr and Plockmatic, as well as ancillary equipment and a range of storage solutions.

Printing equipment includes a Heidelberg GTO 52 offset two-colour perfector printer and a Heidelberg Windmill platen single colour letterpress machine.

Finishing equipment includes Horizon AFC-566FKT cross folder machine, a 2005 Schneider Senator paper guillotine a Polar Mohr 66 programable paper guillotine machine, a Horizon AC-8000s 8 tray collator and CF-20 cover feeder, a Plockmatic Pro 35 production booklet maker, a Horizon EF-35 paper folder, a Smipack SL56 heat-shrinking packaging machine, and a Neopost SI 76 fold and inserting machine.

The auction is currently open on Grays Online, and there are no reserve prices. The auction closes at 8.30pm on Tuesday, 22 August. Click here to get to the auction site.
