KEYNOTES FIRMED FOR DSCOOP 2025
HP print systems user group Dscoop will have a trio of keynote speakers at its next major event, The Next Wave, set for Long Beach, California in May.
HP Indigo, Pagewide and Large Format press users from Australia and New Zealand will be among the global community gathering for what is the world’s biggest print industry user group event, Dscoop Edge.
Skateboard legend Tony Hawk, award-winning entrepreneur Daymond John, and HP executive Antonio Lucio, will take the stage at different times during the event, to share their best ideas and vibes at the May 14-17 conference, which organiser says is designed to energise, support and educate the growing Dscoop community to discover new opportunities to thrive in the digital print space.
According to Dscoop, “Their energy, innovation and sharing spirit mirrors the global Dscoop community.” That community now includes 20,000 people from 90 countries around the world.
"Simply put, everyone is stoked for these keynotes," said Dscoop executive director Peter van Teeseling, playing off the event's ‘The Next Wave’ theme. "This is a lively and fun community of print mavericks, and there's incredible energy anytime Dscoopers meet in person." The keynotes are part of an event designed to energize, support and educate attendees to discover new opportunities to thrive in the digital print space.
"I've met so many incredible people through Dscoop, and my career and business have benefited enormously," said Lee Reed, a manager at ABCO Inc since 1995, and conference chair for Edge Long Beach. "Alongside other members, I'm honoured and excited to help build the agenda for this awesome event."
Visionary legend Tony Hawk embodies resilience, innovation and the pursuit of passion. As a skateboarding pioneer and successful entrepreneur, he’s transformed a niche sport into a global phenomenon. Dscoop says his story of perseverance, adaptability and pushing boundaries will inspire and delight attendees.
Maverick entrepreneur Daymond John will discuss lessons from his journey as a self-made entrepreneur and investor. Known for founding clothing brand FUBU, and his role on the US TV show "Shark Tank," he'll offer a message of perseverance, strategic thinking and innovation.
Strategist Antonio Lucio is the executive VP and chief marketing and corporate affairs officer at HP. He'll draw upon his experience as a transformative marketing leader and global brand strategist for HP, where he has driven innovative campaigns that prioritize inclusion, sustainability and purpose.
