KIRKLAND VOTED FESPA FUTURE LEADER

Justin Kirkland, account manager at Fujifilm Australia, has been voted as the 2024 Fespa Future Leader, with Lisa Michalanney, co-owner, Signage World in SA taking second place.

Kirkland and Michalanney will both now receive all-expenses paid trips to Fespa in Berlin next May, to further their sign and display knowledge.

The votes for Kirkland and Michalanney took place at the end of this year’s two day Future leaders event, which Fespa Australia says is “transformative”.

The Future Leaders workshop took place during the Fespa annual conference, with past Fespa Future Leaders playing a role in many of the panel sessions at the conference, and in an interactive session, where participants brainstormed how to attract new talent introduced by the Fespa Future Leader's cohort.

The 12 Future Leaders this year received professional coaching, personal development, and mentoring from Carl Harman, who has coached the senior and executive teams and boards of many prominent corporate and government organisations internationally.

Fespa Future Leaders has so far seen 36 potential leaders go through its programme, with Fespa president Nigel Davies hinting at an expanded programme next year.
