LATEST PRINT21 MAGAZINE ARRIVING
The latest issue of the print industry’s magazine, Print21, is arriving on the desks of print business owners and managers around Australia and New Zealand.
Written by the print industry’s experienced journalists, this issue of Print21 is packed with valuable print business information, with multiple features. They include the industry’s PacPrint Preview, as well as business features, sign and display features, and this is the first issue of the year containing the Labels21 section.
The cover story in the latest issue reports on the new partnership between industry heavyweights Epson and Currie Group, which will see the Epson sign and display printers join the extensive Currie Group portfolio, bringing the benefits of both to the market.
PacPrint, the print trade show for Australia and New Zealand, will take place next month in Sydney, this issue of Print21 previews the major exhibitors, and what PacPrint visitors can expect to see on their stands, with hardware and software, including AI solutions for print on the show floor.
Labels are a key opportunity for print businesses of all kinds, the new issue of Print21 contains the Labels21 section, created to deliver engaging informed content on label opportunity, and the technology to achieve it. This issue analyses the irrevocable drivers sending labels to digital presses, and assesses the RFID opportunity for label converters. We also look at the hone grown technology Jet iQ for embellishing and finishing labels.
Sign and display printing has been widely embraced by commercial and franchise printers in recent years, this issue previews the big international technology show, Fespa Global, which runs next month, and also looks at the burgeoning opportunities in textile, garment and fabric printing.
Australia and New Zealand are important stops on the world tour of any technology CEO, as they seek to gauge the experience and feedback of printers, and it is a two way street, and so when the Konica Minolta president, and then the global sales director of Ricoh were in town, Print21 took them aside to get their views on the development of the industry.
The biggest story on the Pirnt21 news website this month was that of the print broker seeking to impose 120 days end-of-month terms on printers. Kellie Northwood, CEO of the Visual Media Association, says printers and buyers need to have a mature conversation about developing a sustainable business relationship. Meanwhile, PrintNZ CEO Ruth Cobb explains why Kiwi printers will be well served in their business development by taking a trip across the ditch to PacPrint.
And with a major section covering the movers and shakers in action over the last two months, and the essential Print21 diary, the latest issue of the nation’s favourite print business media is essential reading.
