LATEST PRINT21 MAGAZINE OUT NOW
The latest edition of the nation’s favourite print industry magazine is out, packed with valuable feature content, all aimed to provide relevant information to printers.
The July-August Print21 has been arriving on the desks of the owners and managers of print businesses across Australia and New Zealand all week.
The issue features the industry’s most comprehensive review of global mega-show drupa, with expert analysis of the major trends, themes and issues at the show, written by the industry’s foremost journalists, and Print21 editors Wayne Robinson, Patrick Howard and Lindy Hughson.
The issue has a guide to what the industry’s 40 leading technology developers were showing in the giant halls of the Messe Centre, the messages they were communicating, and the sales they were making to the ANZ print community.
The cover story features the new generation of HP Indigo B2 presses – the 120K and 18K – with full insight into rationale for the new presses.
The July-August magazine also contains the latest issue of Labels21, the intelligent, informed, media for the label printing sector. It features a profile on the largest Australian-owned label printing business, QLM Label Makers, and particularly its expansion into SE Asia. Print21 editor Wayne Robinson travelled to Ho Chi Minh City to talk to CEO Simon Pugh.
The issue has a case study by Lindy Hughson on a collaboration between printer Labelhouse, labelstock supplier Ball & Doggett, and design house Studio Guild to create a set of luxury beverage labels, with outstanding results.
Labels technology is covered by the big label print systems developments shown at drupa, and by an analysis of the new generation of hybrid label print systems, by renowned commentator Dominique Huret.
Further features in the issue include an analysis of the latest moves by Australia Post, marketing guru Malcolm Auld’s insight into continuing to gain market intelligence, and the results of the VMA’s metrics analysis of certification, environmental compliance and HR/IR, while PrintNZ CEO Ruth Cobb reflects on drupa.
Finally the People in Print pages provide insight into the major deals and moves that have just occurred, in the ever-dynamic world of ANZ print.
