LEO ZWART ACHIEVES 57 YEARS IN PRINT
Brisbane print identity Leo Zwart is in the running as the person serving the longest time in print, this year racking up 57 continuous years in the industry.

Zwart started in print at his family business, then known as H & A Zwart, with an apprenticeship as a letterpress / offset printer way back in 1968, when the Beatles were top of the pop charts.
He then took ownership of the company in 1980, and ran it until 2017, when he closed the business and sold the client list to Farzad Shabrokh at Exact Print, where he has worked ever since.
Zwart said, “Of course the industry has changed dramatically, both in the technology and the market. What Exact Print can do with digital technology is remarkable.”
Zwart only intended on working for Exact for a couple of weeks initially, then three months, but eight years later he is still there, working one day a week these days. He said, “I have no plans to retire, I love working with my clients, 98 per cent of whom came over with me to Exact. I play a lot of golf, but I’m always available on the phone.”
