LIA TO TOUR IVE SILVERWATER SITE

The LIA is running a tour of the IVE site in Silverwater on 5 October, the session to be followed by a dinner and networking time at the local golf club.

It will be the first chance for the industry to see IVE since it acquired its stricken rival Ovato a year ago, and began the process of integration.

LIA committee member Mitch Mulligan said, “We believe it will be a unique opportunity to have a close look at one of Australia’s largest printing companies. Many in our industry will be keenly interested to see just what the two merged companies look like now, the scope of what they have accomplished and where they are off to next.”

The tour will be welcomed by the IVE management team, and will cover both the Silverwater web press centre and the commercial print area. Darryl Meyer, CEO Web Offset at IVE, will give a presentation.

The tour begins at 5pm in Silverwater, with the dinner set to begin at 7.30pm at Canarvon Golf Club in Lidcome. Cost, including the dinner, is $65 for LIA members, $70 for everyone else. To book your spot email Mike Williams mikewil@optusnet.com.au
