SPICERS RUNS NEW FEDRIGONI CAMPAIGN

Spicers is running The Vellum, a promotional campaign that brings its Fedrigoni premium papers to life across a variety of high-end applications.

Inspired by The Vellum Hotel, a fictional boutique hotel, Spicers says the campaign is aimed to demonstrate how Fedrigoni papers elevate brand experiences and cater to markets that seek refinement in every detail.

Cyndi Setia, Spicers marketing & design manager, said, “The Vellum is an exciting journey into luxury, where creativity meets functionality to create a seamless brand story. We wanted clients to experience the versatility of Fedrigoni papers, from the durability of coasters to the elegance of refined collateral pieces, each crafted to transform brand touchpoints into premium experiences.”

Melbourne-based SeeSaw Studio brought the vision to life with expertise in branding, property development, and packaging. It took inspiration from traditional vellum manuscripts, modernising the design with typography treatments, structural ingenuity, and a “sophisticated” colour palette, creating what Spicers says is a luxurious yet timeless aesthetic.

Spicers says stocks including Revive Eco 100, Stephen, and Splendorgel embody a commitment to elegance and sustainability, providing clients with a high-quality, eco-conscious solution. “As we developed The Vellum, we wanted each element to evoke a distinct experience,” Setia added. “By sharing this suite, we’re offering a tangible look at how our clients can convey luxury and sustainability – qualities essential in today’s premium market.”

Lorenzo Mari, Fedrigoni head of subsidiaries – Asia, expressed his excitement for this collaboration, he said,  “The Vellum is a testament to Fedrigoni’s legacy of quality and innovation, since 1888. Working with Spicers, we’re able to demonstrate the breadth of applications possible with our papers.

“This campaign illustrates how our papers bring dimension and depth to brand interactions, which is invaluable across luxury sectors, from hospitality to exclusive retail.”

The Vellum suite features a custom folder, engineered with folds and tabs instead of glue, creating a structured, eco-friendly housing. A die-cut on the front hints at the materials within, inviting viewers to explore further. Photography with warm, tonal direction enhances the experience, adding, says Spicers, a sense of place and refined ambience.
