The attendance on Day 1 of the show outstripped the 2018 iteration, demonstrating the enthusiasm of businesses to Connect with Success’. Day 2 of the show saw hundreds of industry professionals attend, with the Day 1 figures surpassed by lunch time.

While the full analysis will not be completed until after the show, current estimates put visitor numbers up about 20 per cent on the same show six years ago.

The organiser says it’s clear that the pandemic-induced hiatus has contributed to the enthusiasm of the market, with many companies taking the opportunity to not only attend, but to bring their teams.

Anecdotally, organisers have heard of groups driving for hours, or flying multiple people to Brisbane from interstate, to see the latest innovations and update their knowledge at the Connections Sessions, which are also proving popular.

In addition to increased foot traffic, the organiser said visitors are here to buy. Visual Connections, the suppliers’ association, and organiser of the show, said, “Numerous exhibitors have reported strong sales, with some already selling every item displayed on their stands.

Visitors are being treated to a diverse display, featuring the latest innovations in sign and display systems, wide-format printing, textile and sublimation printing, engraving, routing and laser cutting, 3D printing, finishing solutions, a variety of software and MIS systems and a full range of media from paper and boards, to synthetic media and specialised textiles.

The exhibition brings together the latest releases in equipment, systems and services across signage, displays, wide-format and textile printing, routing and engraving, software and services – plus, a packed programme of informal sessions at the Connections Centre.

The show will be open today until 4pm, and visitors are still being urged to pre-register to ensure they can make the most of their time at the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre - click here to register.
