The 2023 Real Media Award entries deadline has been extended to next Friday, 25 August, due to increased demand from entrants, and to provide additional time for entrants to lodge multiple submissions across all categories.

This year’s Real Media Awards sees the expansion across categories in recognition of all industry with a strong focus on innovative print marketing. Building the entry reach from previous years, the Real Media Awards now carry a new award ‘Packaging, Brand Actvation and Labels’ expanding into packaging, labels and wide format industry sectors. ‘Loyalty Program of the Year’ and ‘Data-Driven Campaigns’ to add depth to the mail sector, whilst maintaining a category for Charity and Fundraising Mail as a specialty.

The 2023 Real Media Awards will continue Major Award categories such as: Brand of the Year; Agency of the Year; Best Emerging Talent and Best Emerging Designer which are all highly coveted awards delivering recognition to the finalists and winners across the entire industry. The Real Media Awards celebrate all things print, marketing and brand with effectiveness, creativity and innovation, being recognised as arguably the industry’s most prestigious event of the year. From brochureware to print collateral, catalogues to magazines, property portfolios to packaging, point of sale to direct mail - the Real Media Awards are renowned for celebrating printers and customer achievements together in partnership.

The concept of the Real Media Awards this year is timelessness, luxe, and value. Reflecting the timeless quality and value of print across all customer sectors they are a relevant promotion of print, communicating to customers the power of print and related services from 2022 and beyond.

Recovering from Covid restrictions, the Real Media Awards, has grown its reach over 2021 and 2022 and continues to seek growth in entries this year to once again reach the 650 entries achieved in 2019.

The event will be held at Aerial in South Wharf precinct Melbourne and a smaller New Zealand event recognising industry leadership across the channel. “Each year we are seeing more and more entrants tell us a story of their success, the journey their campaigns have taken and the results that have been achieved using print, it is a wonderful to see the success of marketing at work and we look forward to coming together to celebrate your success,” concluded Northwood.
