The new facility is treble the size of its previous site at 1620sqm, and will enable the company to continue its drive into third party logistics, including both long and short term storage.

It will also house another Konica Minolta AccurioPress C4080 digital colour print system, with the presses handling the bulk of the company's print work, which includes direct mail and other marketing & printing jobs.

Richard King, sales manager at Universal Approach said, "We are winning an increasing amount of work from online businesses and existing clients, who appreciate the service we provide in receiving, and despatching their products with efficiency. 3PL is an area that we will grow into, as online shopping becomes an ever-greater part of Australian life.

Expanding operations: Richard King

"Moving from 550sqm to 1620sqm premises gives us more space and flexibility, and provides the platform for growth, we will be able to handle everything that our clients need."

Privately-owned Universal Approach is 18 years old, with 10 staff plus casuals used on demand. It also provides a container unpack service, palletising and shrink wrapping, and handles distribution for its clients to their customers.

Its print operation includes both large format printing and digital printing. King said, "We install the highest quality production equipment. The KM printer has been a superb machine for us, so we had no hesitation in ordering another AccurioPress when we decided to have additional printer."
