VMA TO RUN INDUSTRY METRICS ROADSHOW
Print businesses looking to get an insight into industry data and trends are invited to attend the Annual Industry Metrics Roadshow for 2024, hosted by the Visual Media Association (VMA) in five capital cities across October and November.
The cross-country series of events will explore the latest figures, insights, and forecasts for the printing industry, which will come from the Annual Industry Metrics Survey, which remains open for print businesses to complete until next Friday, September 20.
Kellie Northwood, CEO, VMA, said, “I cannot urge our members and industry enough to complete the survey. You receive a copy of the report, and your input will assist in shaping the programmes we deliver for members, and the insights we can provide as a collective into government.
“Together we are the largest manufacturing employer, and a sovereign manufacturing industry, our voice is important, and the industry metrics are critical to delivering a compelling voice.”
The events, supported by Ricoh, will highlight crucial industry metrics, including salary benchmarks, operational trends, customer demographics, and key financial insights, providing invaluable data to help businesses navigate the evolving landscape.
They will be held in Ricoh’s showrooms across Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide, and Perth, offering exclusive first access to the results of the Annual Industry Metrics Survey.
Attendees will also gain insights into skills shortages, innovative practices, and the impact of emerging technologies on the sector.
The events are free to attend, with registrations now open:
- Melbourne – October 22, 5:00pm to 7:00pm.
- Sydney – October 29, 5:00pm to 7:00pm.
- Brisbane – November 7, 5:00pm to 7:00pm.
- Adelaide – November 12, 5:00pm to 7:00pm.
- Perth – November 14, 5:00pm to 7:00pm.
“The roadshows are designed to give our members across Australia a chance to engage directly with the data and trends that matter most. It’s an opportunity to get real-time insights and to collaborate with peers across the country,” Northwood added.
“We want every participant to walk away feeling empowered with information they can apply immediately in their business.
"The Annual Industry Metrics Survey is more than just numbers—it’s about strengthening our industry by understanding where we stand and where we need to go. By participating, businesses aren’t just helping themselves; they’re contributing to the collective knowledge that will shape the future of print and visual media."
Those who complete the Annual Industry Metrics Survey will receive a full copy of the report.
