DRUPA TECHNOLOGY VIDEO: XEIKON
Xeikon launched what it says is the next evolution of Panther inkjet technology, with the Xeikon PX3300HD, a new 1200dpi digital press, and it had its new 500mm-wide TX500 using Titon toner on the stand as well.
The TX500 is being shown for the first time with an inline digital metallisation and embellishment setup co-developed with Kurz.
Developed for high quality labels, the five-colour PX3300HD has a 330mm printing width, and speeds up to 70 metres a minute, even when printing with high opacity white.
On the Xeikon stand, Trevor Crowley, ANZ country manager, highlights the new presses to Print21 editor Wayne Robinson, and says why they are important for print businesses.
