New business ABC Copier Solutions is offering to pay for unwanted digital printers, and to take them away, saving print businesses the pain of trying to dispose of the printers.
Jaxon Crocker, owner of ABC, says, "We take the used digital printers and copiers, out them in a 40 foot container, and ship them overseas, where they are used by printers across south-east Asia and India."
ABC will turn up at a printer's premises with a tail lift truck and take the used print engine away. Crocker says, "Fuji Xerox, Canon, Ricoh, Konica Minolta, Brother, we take the lot.
"Puttting them to work again is good for the purchaser, as they get a functioning pinter at a low cost, and it is good for the company looking to dispose of the printer as there are no environmental issues, and it is good for the country, as they are not being dumped into a tip."
