The annual Australasian Catalogue Awards continues to grow as it moves to the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre (MCEC) for its 2017 event.
Now in its 26th year, a record of 726 entries were submitted for the Catalogue and Letterbox marketing sector’s ‘night of nights’, with the ACA making the move from Crown Melbourne to accommodate the growing number of attendees.
ACA CEO Kellie Northwood said the Awards are a time to celebrate the work of retailers, agencies and suppliers and the results they have achieved.
“The Awards are a wonderful time for the association and the broader industry, a night when we all come together as one industry,” said Northwood.
“Retailers, Agencies and the Industry have been bubbling with excitement since the Finalist lists were released and we look forward to our big night.”
Judges have evaluated the awards on a range of criteria, from the effectiveness of the printed piece and its engagement, to the strong retail marketing results achieved across all categories.
The ACA also introduced a new Direct Mail category, receiving close to 50 entries, while Chain Department Stores and Speciality Retailers remains the most competitive for the second year in a row.
The 2017 Australasian Catalogue Awards will be held at The Melbourne Room, MCEC, on Friday 25th August 2017, hosted by Australian media personality Libbi Gorr.
