Allkotes has bought the Nautilus Print Finishing business and the assets from industry legend John Warner.
The equipment and the business is being relocated to the Allkotes Silverwater site, with Warner himself – 75 years young – coming over for an agreed period.
Darren Delaney, general manager at Allkotes said, “We think that Johns business not only compliments Allkotes, it provides a great fit. Being able to offer more processes under the one roof can only be an advantage for our customers.
“The added equipment to our Allkotes business will allow us to offer half sheet size die cutting, various glueing techniques and double sided tape applications. The advantages as we see it is that allows our customers to have their work MatteKote or PlastaKote, SpotKote UV, die cut and glued, providing a finished product. The various styles of presentation folders are available with single or double pockets, envelopes, wallets, POS applications with double sided tape.
“We have only just started scratching the surface and we are excited to learn more.”
Warner will also be overseing and assisting in the migration and implementation of the equipment. Delaney said, “John brings a lifetime of experience to Allkotes and we are excited about the opportunities we can gain from the addition of John and the Nautilus Print Finishing business.
In a letter to customers Delaney said, “We are hoping for a smooth transition during this period and we would appreciate your understanding and assistance during this time. The Allkotes team is looking forward to working with existing and known customers of both Nautilus and Allkotes.”
