Avery Dennison, a global leader in labeling solutions, has officially opened its new Berrinba Distribution Centre in Brisbane, which it says will significantly improve services to Australian customers.
Less than a half-hour drive to Brisbane airports, CBD and interstate motorways, the Berrinba facility houses sales and warehousing functions and will serve as the key distribution hub for Avery Dennison’s Label and Graphic Materials, and Reflectives products to customers along the east coast of Australia.
“The new Berrinba Distribution Centre represents Avery Dennison’s strategic commitment to our customers and suppliers,” says Chris Kilgour, commercial director for label and packaging materials, Avery Dennison Australia and New Zealand. "We have incorporated modern technologies and world-class best practices in this new hub facility to ensure fast and efficient response to customers, including next-day delivery to customers in Brisbane and Sydney.”
The Berrinba Distribution Centre runs a 24-hour, five-day operation and features modern facilities for optimum workflow and storage. Previously operating at a smaller location in Acacia Ridge, the new centre, with 22 staff members, is certified to 5 Green Star rating - a benchmark for sustainable design and energy efficiency. This includes the use of LED lighting throughout the premises, with solar panels for energy efficiency and filtration system to remove contaminants in rain and storm waters.

Headquartered in Glendale, California, the company reported sales of $6.1 billion in 2016, with operations in more than 50 countries and more than 25,000 employees worldwide.
