Blue Star, a division of ASX-listed IVE Group, has acquired Victorian-based Frost Merchandising to consolidate its move into the $1.5 billion merchandise and promotional products market.
The deal follows Blue Star's 2015 acquisition of merchandise and promotional products company Vavavoom, now known as Blue Star Promote.
Frost has provided promotional products for over 27 years and will be integrated into the Blue Star Promote business in Clayton, Melbourne.
“Frost Merchandising is an incredibly well run and creative promotional agency with a long history servicing some of Australia’s most well-known brands," said Matt Cave, GM, Blue Star Promote. "Frost Merchandising’s focus on quality, product safety and ethical trading were major draw cards for us. We very much look forward to combining forces to enhance our value proposition to clients and the broader marketing community in Melbourne.”
Frost Merchandising’s team of promotional specialists will join with Blue Star Promote’s Victorian team under the leadership of GM Cave.
“Known for their commitment to excellence and the calibre of their staff, Frost Merchandising will be an excellent addition to our growing promotional merchandise business Blue Star Promote," said Cliff Brigstocke, CEO, Blue Star Group. "Promotional merchandise is a key pillar of our diversified marketing communications offering and the acquisition of Frost Merchandising enables us to further build upon this capability.”
