Continuing a popular tradition in the Sunshine State, the Australian Sign and Graphics Association (ASGA), together with new co-host Visual Connections, will host its annual industry golf event for Queenslanders on Friday 23 August.
The Golf Day will be held at the North Lakes Resort Golf Club, arguably one of Queensland’s best – and most beautiful – golf courses. After breakfast at 7am, golfers will tee off at 8am for a fun round of Ambrose Golf, where teams work together to achieve the best score. The day includes the use of a motorised cart for the entire round, drinks from the drinks cart, plus a buffet lunch and presentations – all for just $150/head.
ASGA General Manager, Michael Punch, said it is a chance for sign, display and print industry professionals to network, make new connections and just enjoy a fun and relaxing day with staff, clients, family and friends.
“This has been a popular annual event for a number of years in Queensland, with members of the print, sign, display and graphics industries always keen to get together with industry colleagues in this more informal way,” Punch said.
“This year, our colleagues at Visual Connections have joined us as co-hosts of this event, which is also supported of course by the sponsorship of our industry partners.”
Getting behind the initiative are Principal Sponsor Hexis, Amari Visual Solutions who will be sponsoring the drinks cart, and Neon Signs who is the Breakfast Sponsor. Novelty holes will be sponsored by Wolf Signs, Gravotech, Visual Connections, Sign Manufacturers’ Insurance Brokers, M-Power Software, HVG Graphic Media, Mulford Plastics and Arc Metal Fabrication, with Bounce LED taking out the first individual hole sponsorship so far.
Like a highly successful Sydney Golf Day held by ASGA and Visual Connections in May, the Brisbane Golf Day will also be supporting the Man Anchor charity, a grassroots organisation focused on issues which affect men’s health and mental well-being.
