Clear Skies creditor meeting for Tuesday
The creditors’ meeting for Clear Skies Corp has been set for Tuesday at the Sydney offices of administrator PKF, with a proposed DOCA to keep the company going top of the agenda.
The company went into voluntary administration a month ago with debts initially topping $1m, which excludes employee entitlements.
Clear Skies Corp trades as Skope Group Services Manufacturing, Scream Visual, and FM Engineering & Wholesale Sign Manufacturing. Sole director is Robert Price, who is also the general manager of Comm-Klad.
Skope Group Services Manufacturing, which operates from Campbelltown, is distinct from Skope Group Services located in Castle Hill. Scream Visual also operates from the Castle Hill premises.
Clear Skies owes $427,000 to the ATO, its biggest debt. Industry suppliers are also on the creditors list, including the MM Plastics trio Amari Visual, Graphic Art Mart and Chief Media, who are owed $134,000; HVG for $30,000; and Mulford Plastics owed $18,000. It also owes an as yet unspecified amount in employee entitlements.
Fairview Architectural is owed $77,000. Fairview is the Brethren-owned aluminium cladding supplier currently under threat of class action by legal entity IMF Bentham over the fire resistance, or not, of cladding it supplied.
