Iconic industry demonstration truck heading west to Adelaide and then across the Nullarbor Plains to Perth in November bringing the latest in graphic arts equipment to the states.

One of the most anticipated events in the graphic arts industry calendar is underway in November as the Currie Group’s big 22-wheeler mobile showroom hits the road again. Loaded with a complete digital printing production plant, the brightly coloured extendible vehicle will welcome printers to come and inspect live production in South Australia for two days next week.

Stationed at the West Adelaide Football at the City Mazda Stadium, the same venue as the previous visit, the Currie showroom provides a unique opportunity for regional printers to get up close to an array of industry-defining equipment.

The showroom will be open on:

  • Tuesday 10th November 2015: 9.00am - 7.00pm
  • Wednesday 11th November 2015: 9.00am - 4.00pm

Bernie Robinson, managing director, Currie Group, will be on hand to support local personnel with all the answers. He invites the South Australian printing industry to come along and check out the two-day event.

“I’m really looking forward to getting to Adelaide again, and meeting our customers there. Last time it proved very popular and I invite everyone to come along and say ‘Hello.’”

One of the aims of the Roadshow is to allow printers who do not make the journey to trade shows, such as PrintEx in Sydney, to be able to see the latest releases. “We bring the equipment to our customers. I know they really appreciate it,” said Robinson.

Onboard the mobile showroom this time around is enough equipment to drive a total print shop:

  • HP Indigo 3550 Digital Press
  • Horizon RD-4055 Rotary Die-cut System
  • Horizon CRF-362 Creaser & Folder
  • Horizon BQ-280 PUR Perfect Binder
  • Horizon APC-610 Hydraulic Paper Cutter
  • Foliant Vega 530 Laminator

Printers are invited to register their interest in attending the Adelaide event.

The following week, Glenn Dunnet, Currie’s veteran truck driver, will pilot the showroom to Perth where it will be open to the public for three days outside the Group’s offices in Osborne Park..
