ReDigital New Zealand, distributor of the GMC Inspire suite, has appointed David Allen as its NZ Country Manager.
Allen, who will be based in Wellington, is a ‘perfect fit’ for the company, said Shane O’Dea, ReDigital director of sales and marketing, Australia and New Zealand. “With his extensive experience in customer communications management (CCM) and strong track record of spearheading transformational change and launching new business initiatives, David is the ideal person to lead and grow our New Zealand operations. His deep marketing proficiency, coupled with GMC’s cutting-edge CCM technology, will support our local clients as they re-engage with their customers and help them connect irrespective of what device they prefer to communicate on.”
Allen was a founder of Datamail (later to become Datam) in New Zealand 25 years ago and later worked in strategy at NZ Post before running a digital printing business which was recently sold to Blue Star Group.
“It’s an exciting time to be in the CCM business,” said Allen. “I’m delighted to be joining a company with such a strong commitment to understanding its customers’ business objectives and meeting those with innovative solutions and technologies.”
ReDigital was founded in 2010 as the Australia and New Zealand distributor for GMC Software Technologies. Since then it has managed projects from the installation of the GMC Inspire suite in communications businesses to full system replacement, integration and legacy application migration in some of the Asia Pacific’s largest print bureaus.
