Industry veteran Alex McClelland is the new managing director of wide format consumables manufacturer and supplier Orafol Australia.
He joins from Mulfords Australia, where he was general manager for 15 months, following a 15 year stint at Spandex, latterly as managing director.
McClelland steps up into the role following the departure of Greg Nicholls, who joined in September 2017 when the German company instigated a strategic change and bought its local distributors.
It acquired its distributors Artmart in Blackburn North in Melbourne, Major Tom at Brompton in Adelaide, and Signmaker Supplies at Balcatta in Perth, plus Queensland-based Australian Graphic Supplies (AGS), which Nicholls founded.
Orafol manufactures self adhesive films, reflective materials, and adhesive tape systems.
