OKI has launched the first compact A3 printer with white toner, joining its existing A4 offering with the same capability.
The new OKI Pro8432WT A3 white toner printer can print at up to 35 ppm, at 1200x600 dpi. It is compatible with single-step and low-temperature transfer media, allowing it to decorate substrates including synthetic fabrics, metal, glass, and wood.
Printing A3 with white toner will allow businesses to expand their range of in-house print-on-demand options, said Antonio Leone, marketing manager at OKI. "The ability to print white with an A3 desktop printer enables businesses to unleash their creative potenial like never before, as well as generate incremental revenue opportunities previously out of reach. Combined with high-definition OKI-pioneered digital LED technology and wrapped in a compact and space-saving design, OKI is revolutionising printing for creative businesses and solidifying its commitment to the Pro-series group of products," he said.
The Pro8432WT will be featured as part of the GJS Roadshow, which will kick off on July 11 in Townsville and tour Australia, concluding in Sydney on August 26. "We’re excited about launching this machine into Australia because it’s one of the most compact A3 printers which has a white toner, which makes it very versatile - for example, it enables the customer to print their own point of sale displays or onto clear stickers, and to do package design," said Greg Stone, managing director, GJS.
