Visitors to PrintEx19 in Sydney in August will be able to see a host of award-winning products from HP first-hand on the Photo Direct stand E06, including canvas made from recycled water bottles.

The HP Recycled Satin Canvas is a first-of-its-kind printable canvas, made entirely from 100 per cent recycled water bottles, and which took out both the America Business Stevie Award for Innovation and the SGIA Product of the Year Award.

According to Chris Howell from Photo Direct, HP Recycled Satin Canvas answers growing consumer demand for products, which not only perform well, but are sustainable, reflecting HP’s initiatives to improve lives and reduce the impact on the planet.

“HP Recycled Satin Canvas is a bright white, slightly-textured satin-finish canvas, which is a fantastic performer, providing a perfect surface for artistic reproductions of photos, artworks or retail and hospitality décor – while diverting damaging plastic waste from our oceans,” he explains.

HP Recycled Satin Canvas is just one of a suite of products that will be showcased on Photo Direct’s stand, with Howell saying the company will also be demonstrating a variety of other large format media products and printers, including HP printers and HP large format printing materials for the innovative PageWide XL and aqueous printing technologies.

“Media is a vital part of the success equation, and we will be able to talk to print professionals about how the right choice of media can expand both market share and profitability,” Howell says, adding that visitors will be able to also get free samples and chat to the company’s knowledgeable sales team about their specific business requirements.

PrintEx19 will run from 13-16 August, 2019, at the Sydney Showground, Sydney Olympic Park. Click here to register, go to or go to www.printex.net.au for more information.
