Old face returns to PMP as CEO, Richard Allely transforms the company and regains lost ground.

Andrew Williams, (pictured) former managing director of PMP’s Victorian print division resigned from the company in 2007 after 17 years; but Allely was able to lure him back with the offer of managing director, distribution where he will focus on building PMP’s marketshare in letterbox distribution.

According to Allely, it was Williams' background and extensive knowledge of PMP that made him suitable for the distribution role. “Williams understands the printing and distribution industry and the need to transform PMP into a streamlined, dynamic and customer-focused organisation,” Allely said. “Bringing him back will help to restore the experience and depth of knowledge that was lost in recent years.”

Former CEO, Brian Evans’, court case against PMP has been adjourned until 13 July. Evan is seeking $1.56 million after exiting the company in January this year.

Allely’s vision for PMP sat well with Williams, and was a contributing factor to his return. “Richard Allely is absolutely on the right track and I am happy to be back,” he said.

Based in Melbourne, Williams said that his first priority will be to re-establish PMP’s relationship with its clients. “When we deliver, our client’s cash registers ring but we need to understand our customers,” he said.

Allely added that he intended to announce details of his full transformation plan for PMP later this month.
