Konica Minolta has never stop printing as it theme, for a stand which sees the multiple launches from the innovative solutions developer, including the new AccurioLabel Press 230.

The equipment on stand spans a range of applications, and represents the latest and most innovative line up of Konica Minolta digital presses according to Sue Threlfo, general manager for production and industrial print at Konica Minolta.

“Konica Minolta is committed to the success of the print industry. Print is still very much at the core of what we do, and we will never stop printing. At PrintEx we aim to help visitors explore the possibilities of print with innovative technology and solutions that can help print companies create new applications, innovate processes and deliver more efficiently,” she says.

For commercial printers, the stand showcases the AccurioPress C6100 and C3080. The C6100 is coupled with the IQ-501 Intelligent Quality Optimiser, which automatically adjusts colour quality and ensures registration accuracy; it is also equipped with the new Plockmatic PowerSquare 160 booklet finisher for A4 landscape booklets. These technologies ensure superior print quality, says Threlfo.

“The AccurioPress C6100 is a high-speed digital colour press that delivers efficiency with outstanding colour accuracy and consistency that professional print providers demand and expect,” she says.

The award-winning C3080 can print 81 pages per minute, translating to 4,399 A4 sheets or 2,113 SRA3 sheets per hour; it can also produce full-speed colour envelopes, professional full coverage booklets, and auto duplex 762mm long sheet prints, according to Threlfo.

“This digital colour print system offers versatility and award-winning reliability, empowering print professionals to surpass their requirements for on-demand printing,” she says.

Label converters also have the opportunity for a first look at the AccurioLabel 230, launching at PrintEx.

“The new look AccurioLabel 230 features enhanced productivity, offering an impressive speed of 23.4 metres per minute; job flexibility; ease of operation; and excellent image quality for short- to mid-volume label applications,” says Threlfo. “We are expecting there to be a lot of interest in this new digital label press due to its impressive speed and flexibility.”

Also on stand is an HP Latex production printer, there as Konica has just inked a deal with HP to supply the wide format printer. The stand also has the MGI JetVarnish 3DS digital embellishment, an array of applications from the AccurioJet KM-1, and an area set up with workstations to show how Konica Minolta’s AccurioPro solutions can help printers achieve greater efficiency.
