Roland DG Australia, a leading manufacturer of wide format inkjet printers and 3D devices, has appointed Daryl Leonard Rio as its new business development manager for the ASEAN region.
Based in Singapore, Rio will work with Roland DG’s partners to support the company’s expansion throughout the ASEAN region.
“Daryl brings many years of experience in the wide format printing industry in Asia to his new role,” says a company press release. “He has previously been responsible for customer support, sales and distribution in the region when he worked as regional application engineer for ColorGATE Digital Output Solutions GMbH and Barbieri Electronic snc, providing technical training to distributors and end users, and supporting key accounts.
“Most recently, Daryl worked for two years as Business Development Manager Asia-Pacific for software company Aurelon Asia, where he worked with distributors, building relationships and looking for new business opportunities, and achieving growth in new markets.
“Roland DG’s footprint in the ASEAN region has continued to grow in recent years, and Daryl’s local knowledge and experience with regional manufacturers will further enhance this expansion.”
Rio commenced his role with Roland DG on August 1.
