Peter Sinodinos has resigned as CEO of print and associated services franchising group Snap, two and a half years after he took the top job. He now has his own consultancy business.
Snap, which is the biggest print franchise group in Australia, is now looking for a new CEO, with Peter Russell, chairman of the board, supporting the Executive Team on an interim basis.
Russell said, “Although we are sad to see Peter leave, we are confident in the significant leadership strength and commitment we have in the team as well as the direction for the brand we have planned for FY20. It is my intention to support them fully while a new CEO is sought. Until then, it is very much business as usual.”
Sinodinos took over from long time CEO Stephen Edwards at the beginning of 2017. He joined after a lengthy career with franchise electrical appliance discounter The Good Guys.
Russell said, “We would like to thank Peter for his service to the company over the last two years and wish him well with his future endeavours.”
Snap has more than 150 stores, most in Australia, but also in New Zealand, China and Ireland. It dropped the word print from its title a few years ago in a strategic move, to broaden its market perception and service offering.
