Burns survivor and triathlete Turia Pitt will be the keynote speaker at this weekend’s Snap Franchising conference Let’s Own the Future which begins on Friday at Jupiters Casino on the Gold Coast.
Pitt, a motivational speaker, mentor and athlete, has undergone 200 operations since suffering burns to 65 per cent of her body five years ago in a WA bushfire. She recently completed the Hawaiian Ironman triathlon (pictured, right), where she was sponsored by Snap, and has been working with the company to build a new website.
The three Snap national conference (October 14-16), presented by TV host Larry Emdur, will feature interactive workshops and motivational talks, with sessions including ‘Marketing Made Easy’, ‘Tech Talk’, and ‘Build Your Investment’, as well as an opportunity to visit ‘innovation stations’ where suppliers will provide a free-flowing environment for ideas and inspiration.
“Our annual conference has always been a huge success and this year we are looking forward to it being even better with the attendance of some special guests,” says acting CEO Tony Geange.
Snap’s Gold Partners, Arthur J. Gallagher, Australia Post, BJ Ball, Bloomtools, Canon, CMYK, EFI, Fuji Xerox, Konica Minolta, Neo Post and Ricoh will all be in attendance.
The event also includes an awards ceremony, a cocktail dinner and networking event, with an opportunity to chat with Snap board members.
Print, design and marketing franchise company Snap was founded in 1899 and has more than 500,000 clients in Australia, China, Ireland and New Zealand.
