The sales management team installed at leading digital supplier Fuji Xerox Australia by former managing director Neil Whittaker has now left the company, according to industry sources.

Whittaker's abrupt departure from the Fuji Xerox headquarters in Sydney in May followed an audit by Singapore HQ.  He was replaced a month later by former FX Malaysian president, Sunil Gupta, who promised a 'back to basics' approach. A couple of weeks later, Fuji Xerox cancelled incentive trips for its top sales people.

Staff were informed this week in an internal email that Delwyn Land, executive general manager, national sales and corporate operations - described by insiders as Whittaker's 'right-hand woman' - had resigned.

Delwyn has been with Fuji Xerox for over 20 years and officially joined our team from FX New Zealand in July 2015, said the email, which thanked Land for her contribution and wished her all the best for the future.

Land was one of a team of New Zealanders who came across to FX in Sydney soon after Whittaker was appointed to the top job in May of last year.

Insiders say others from the Whittaker team who have also left the company recently include: general manager, information technology services, Lane Whittaker (Whittaker's son); and corporate sales manager Nilesh Bhula. The sources say the company gave no reason for the moves, other than to say that Fuji Xerox had chosen to enforce the executive clause in the contracts.

It's understood sales manager Matthew Wall, also from New Zealand, resigned a couple of weeks ago.  There's speculation more departures could be imminent.

Late last month, long-term FXA national sales manager Adam Fittler decided to leave the company after a year in which he completed a number of high profile deals.
