Variety Bash charity rally nears start line
Car 15 helmed by print trio Rennell, Peddlesden and Benjamin has less than two weeks before the Variety Bash charity rally begins across the Bass Strait on 22 August.
According to Rennell, sponsorships and personal contributions are starting to add up which is also greatly appreciated by the team. Already they have raised over 20K with just under two weeks until race time.
Car 15 has sponsorship and commitments from the following key industry organisations:

He says a practice run on Saturday saw the team get used to the nuances of their 1968 HR Holden. Car 15 has no power brakes, windows or steering or any other such luxuries. “The car ran beautifully and looks in great shape not showing any signs of its 40plus years.” (a bit like its drivers)
“We really would like to ask anyone and everyone to make a donation to the charity via the link as it really is a very worthwhile cause. Admittedly the current financial turmoil has every one a little nervous, but a few bucks will genuinely help the kids who Variety does such great work for,” he says.
