VIRUS: Pride in Print postponed, new date tba
Pride in Print has been postponed, the New Zealand print awards night, falling victim to the coronavirus scare which has seen gatherings of more than 500 people banned.
Due to take place in Auckland on 8 May, the New Zealand print industry's night of nights will now take place at a date yet to be decided. It regularly attracts a crowd well in excess of 500.
The organiser says, “This current situation is a new challenge to all of us. We are monitoring the situation and will advise as soon as possible new dates and updates on 2020 Award announcements.
“We will update you all as soon as we have news to report. In the interim please stay safe and we look forward to celebrating with you all very soon.”
Judging has already taken place for the 2020 Awards. At present the winners will not be notified until the night of the rescheduled event.
