Wal Cryer and Alan Dabscheck inducted into LATMA Hall Fame.
Over 200 hundred delegates applauded as John Buckham, president of the Label and Tag Manufacturers Association confirmed the induction of the two industry identities last weekend.
Wal Cryer (pictured with his wife Mary), through his family company W.J. Cryer, held the first franchise of US inventor, Stan Avery’s revolutionary self-adhesive label technology in Australia in the 1940s.
His fellow inductee into the Hall of Fame is Allan E. Dabscheck, of Austab Labels, a recognised innovator in the field of self-adhesive labels, a past president of the association and a well-known industry identity.
