Barry Grant continues to strengthen the Neopost sign and display team with the addition of two industry stalwarts.
Newly appointed as national support manager, John Otto lands with over 30 years technical expertise and a decade of working alongside Grant in his former role at Anitech, while Ray Van As brings over 20 years sales experience as he takes up the reins as Neopost’s new business development manager.
Grant, national manager for sign and display solutions at Neopost, said, "I’m very pleased to be able to find such experienced people with developed industry knowledge. It’s always easier to hit the ground running with people like this."
John Otto held the position of senior engineer with Anitech for 16 of his 36 years with the company, and in his new role he will work closely with Grant to build up Neopost’s wide-format service team.
"It’s a perfect fit for me. The position is new within Neopost, so I will enjoy the potential to grow this team and make it work, for Neopost to come out as a market leader on the wide-format side of things," said Otto.
Ray Van As comes from a technical pre-press background, and has a score of credentials with Kodak, CPI and Fujifilm. On his transition to Neopost, Van As explains there was no question it was the brand that drew him in.
"I was attracted to the product suite. It’s a very welcoming, team environment, and right now I’m happy to be business development manager and try to grow the brand," said Van As.
Grant confirms that brand growth was a key factor in his decision to bring both Otto and Van As on board.
"Ray has a wealth of experience and contacts in growth areas we’re looking to get into, like offset wide-format. And then of course to enjoy growth we need to provide a certain level of service to clients, which is what John brings to the table."
