In three dedicated areas on stand 28 in hall 5C, Xeikon will present wide-web large-format labels for chemical and automotive; durable labels for health, beauty, food, and wine; and dry toner and laminating for flexible packaging and pouches, plus its Label Discovery Package for entry-level investment.

According to Filip Weymans, vice president of marketing at Xeikon, the company’s technology portfolio on display will include a range of solutions developed to address current trends, as well as issues around sustainability, food safety, and waste.

“At Labelexpo 2019, Xeikon has chosen to demonstrate four different production lines, not only to show the capabilities of digital printing alone but also to highlight the next level of digital print manufacturing, where the digital press can play a crucial part in a mix of processes to ensure a successful business model.

“Throughout the show, Xeikon technology agnostic experts will be on hand to speak to label printers of all types and sizes, listen to their requirements, and help guide them to the appropriate technologies and revenue opportunities that our digital solutions can provide.

“We are dedicated to helping printers and converters with differing needs identify new applications to help grow their businesses and improve profitability. With our long history and substantial knowledge of the digital label printing market and our access to market leading technologies as part of the Flint Group, we can provide our customers with the very best products and services that can only take their businesses forward into the future,” he said.

Off the stand, Xeikon will participate in the Sustainability Insight Café, demonstrating sustainable food packaging printed with dry toner; as well as the Flexible Packaging Arena, showing off its CX500 press combined with an offline laminator.

The company will also sponsor the 2019 Label Awards, and parent organisation Flint Group will participate in the Label Academy master classes, hosting a session on inks, coating, curing, and lamination.

“Xeikon is delighted to attend Labelexpo Europe 2019 in its 40th anniversary year. We are immensely proud of Xeikon’s development trajectory in recent years, and it is perfect timing for us to align with the exhibition’s mission to help label printers ‘move their businesses forward’,” said Weymans.

Labelexpo Europe 2019 runs from 24 – 27 September in Brussels, and Print21 will report from the show floor every day. Registration is open now.
