Ball & Doggett appoints Jackson to sustainability
Ball & Doggett has appointed the winner of print industry Exceptional Woman of the Year, Zaidee Jackson, as national business development manager, Sustainable Packaging. She takes up the new role on 1 January.
The company says the creation of the new role highlights its commitment to the labels and packaging market, and is intended to develop sustainable label and packaging alternatives for the industry.
Victoria-based Jackson, who was recently awarded Exceptional Woman award at the 38th National Print Awards, has twenty-five years experience working with paper distributors and printers, and as Ball & Doggett's BDM manager in Victoria for the past seven years has successfully navigated profitable outcomes with her team within the creative and brand owner sectors.
In this new key role, Jackson will work closely with Leigh Hooper, newly-appointed general manager, Labels & Packaging, and support the navigation and dialogue between brand owners and converters, supporting the transition pathways in a consultancy experience offered by Ball & Doggett.
Jackson said, "I am thoroughly looking forward to working closely with Leigh and our experienced specialists within the business. We are at an extraordinary juncture of our times in the quest to elevate through action and no longer words.
"Our commitment to sustainable alternatives being delivered into the market supports this journey – products that transparently reduce the impact on the environment and create authentic experiences for brands not just to share a story but to deliver on the promise creating a trust within the new profile of ‘smart consumers."
