AGFA ADDS 2.5M ANAPURNA CIERVO
Agfa has expanded the Anapurna Ciervo inkjet hybrid printer family, with its new 2.5m H2500 model, which comes with enhanced features. Agra's inkjet solutions are represented by Smartech in Australia.

This new printer joins the bigger Anapurna Ciervo H3200 launched last year, providing, says Agfa, the same versatility and performance in a more compact format.
Both Ciervo printers now also feature optional media feed guides, which according to Agfa, broadens their application capabilities and maximises operational uptime.
The new Ciervo H2500 is aimed at businesses that require “premium printing capabilities” on a variety of rigid and flexible substrates up to a width of 2.5m. Like its larger sibling, the Ciervo H2500 features six-colour plus white inks and UV LED curing.
With a redesigned print engine and shuttle, the Ciervo H2500 achieves productivity levels – up to 59sqm an hour in Production Mode, an increase by nearly 70 per cent compared to its predecessor – and prints applications ranging from banners and vinyl to corrugated cardboard and coated textiles.
Its continuous board feeding capability allows “efficient” printing on up to four boards simultaneously, making it ideal for printing companies looking for agility and performance.
Both the Anapurna Ciervo H3200 and H2500 printers now offer optional corrugated media feed guides, expanding their application scope to include precise and reliable printing on corrugated cardboard, for packaging and point-of-sale applications. These new guides can also be retrofitted on existing Ciervo printers.
Greenguard Gold-certified inks ensure “minimal” environmental impact, while Agfa’s Thin Ink Layer technology minimises ink consumption “without compromising quality”.
