Christof Gamper, CEO and co-owner of Durst said, "The P5 X is a testament to our commitment to continuous growth in the large-format printing sector. We continue to push boundaries with new technologies, expanding our capabilities to meet our customers’ evolving needs.

“The P5 X, proudly 'Made in Durst', reflects our dedication to innovation, quality, and reliability, showcasing the best of what Durst stands for."

The P5 X can be ordered as a standalone flatbed, or with a single or double roll-to-roll option, which can also be retrofitted later if required.

Aimed at the mid-range market the P5 X prints 7pl drops from Ricoh inkjet heads, and will print at resolutions of either 700 x 1200dpi or 900 x 1200dpi, at speeds up to 120 sqm an hour, on boards of maximum size 3.25  x  2.15 metres. It will print single rolls up to 3.25 metres wide or dual rolls of 1.6 metres each.

It has ten ink channels with CMYK, white, fluorescent, orange, violet, light cyan, light magenta, light black, varnish, and primer. White printing cuts the speed in half.

Magnetic linear motors on the X and Y axes, there is a vacuum table featuring 12 selectable zones, and a Visual Status Bar.

Durst’s P5 platform integrates systems, hybrid solutions, and software, service, and ink.
