HP TO SHOW SUSTAINABLE PRINT AT VI
HP says it will be the only printer manufacturer at Visual Impact Sydney demonstrating an entirely water-based, sustainable printer portfolio, for producing everything from posters to signage to billboards, enabling printers to deliver each application with odourless, water-based ink.
HP’s stand at Visual Impact will have a Beyond Expectations theme, and will showcase six HP Large Format Printers. They include the HP Latex 2700W Printer (3.2m wide roll-to-roll printer, including white ink), the HP Latex R1000 Plus Printer (1.6m wide hybrid printer, including white ink), the HP Latex 700W Printer (1.6m wide roll-to-roll printer, including white ink) and the HP Latex 800W Printer (1.6m wide roll-to-roll printer, including white ink).
Also on the stand is the HP Latex 365 Print & Cut Solution (1.6m wide turn-key printer and cutter), and the HP PageWide XL Pro 10000 Printer including sheet stacker, which HP claims is the fastest production poster printer in the market.
HP’s stand focus will be to deliver printed applications and quality “beyond your customers’ expectations”, through the versatility of roll-to-roll and hybrid printers, the “whitest” white inks, and prints that respect the look and feel of the substrates chosen.
HP says it creates industry defining technology to meet the current and future demands of its customers and market trends. These trends include simplification and automation of print workflows, remote monitoring of equipment, access to data insights on the printer fleet, personalisation and customisation.
As customer deadlines continue to get tighter and tighter, printers need to deliver fast turnaround with prints ready to deliver straight off the printer to meet tight customer demands. HP also offers online learning available “whenever staff need it” as well as automatic online management of printer configurations and media profiles, sustainable and safe printing.
HP says it is transforming to help drive a more efficient, circular, and net-zero carbon economy. It means using more recycled content, ocean-bound plastics and renewable materials in its products and packaging, and shrinking its carbon footprint across the entire supply chain of its business.
For its customers, it means giving their employees a more comfortable print shop environment with water-based Latex printing technology. HP says it’s also about leveraging the environmental certifications of that technology to create more value for customers.
