oOh! partners with Australian Made campaign
Out of home giant and Cactus Imaging owner oOh!media has become an official media partner of Australian Made, urging Aussies to support local makers and growers via a new campaign.
Now live across oOh! assets in key metropolitan markets around the country, the campaign runs throughout May and is specifically timed to celebrate Australian Made Week, which is running all week.
The creative urges Australians to support local with the slogan: Australian Made makes Australia. Buy Australian.
Former priome minister John Howard through his weight beyhind the campign, he said, "The Covid pandemic has highlighted the need for local self-sufficiency, where this makes sense. The campaign is very much part of this. I supported it strongly when I was prime minister, and hope that the initiative being launched now is successful.”
Printers though expressed disappointment with the federal government’s budget two weeks ago, which did not include a mandate for Australian taxpayer dollars to be spent on Australian print.
Tim Murphy, oOh!media chief sales officer, said partnering with Australian Made was a natural fit for oOh! as a proudly Australian business.
